• Install 'Half-Life'.

• Install 'Unreal Tournamemnt 2004'.
• Download and install 'v3236 patch'. See UT2k4 Download Page for locations.

• Visit www.freeallegiance.org and click on "PLAY". If you don't have one, create an Allegiance community account.
• Run the installer. It will install the game and patch itself from the Internet.
• (You may need Microsoft .NET Framework v1.1. This is for the anti-cheat system the community has written.)

• Install 'Battlefield 1942'.
• Download v1.31 patch from www.battlefield1942.com.
• Install patch.

• Install 'Diablo II'.
• Install 'Diablo II: Lord of Destruction' Expansion.
• Download '1.09D' patch from blizzard.com.
• Install patch.

• Install 'Ghost Recon'.
• Install 'Ghost Recon: Desert Siege'.
• Install 'Ghost Recon: Island Thunder'.

• Install 'Total Annihilation - Multiplayer'.
• Install Regular Install if you wish to play single player.
• Install 'Total Annihilation - The Core Contingency'.
• Download 3.1 patch from www.cavedog.com.
• Install 3.1 patch.
• Download TA Mutation (including our preferred mods) from joki.com.
• Unzip TA-Mutation.zip into your TA directory (i.e. c:\cavedoge\totala\).
• Download additional 3.1 patch from joki.com.
• Run additional 3.1 patch. Use default options.
• Run TA-Mutation. Initial run compiles your TA setup for use with TA-Mutation.
